Play houses fund program

08 Mar, 2010 08:32 AM

DANDENONG builder Latitude 37 certainly has a heart. It joined four other builders in the Kids Under Cover 'Cubby House Challenge' as a highlight of Moomba last weekend.

They created five individual cubbies - like mini-homes for children - that were sold off and raffled.

All of the money raised - expected to be more than $10,000 for each cubby - went towards KUC's bungalow program, which is aimed at keeping teenagers off the streets and living at home.

The program has so far helped build 450 bungalows.
